There are good snorkelling opportunities from the shore. Swimming is popular from the sandy beach. Popular activities include the Yardie Creek boat tour, bush walks, beach walks, canoeing, kayaking, boating, photography, wild flowers, bird and turtle watching. Yardie Creek is located adjacent to the Osprey Marine Sanctuary Zone. Special shore based Fishing Zone conditions apply within this section of Osprey Sanctuary Zone. Bookings are required for camping at this site during peak season (April to October).
